Fly through the night to London.
Day 2 – London
Welcome to England! Your TSA Tours guide waits to escort you to Windsor, on the southern bank of the Thames. Tour the world’s largest inhabited castle, Windsor Castle, a country retreat of Queen Elizabeth and the royal family. See the Round Tower built by Henry II, St. George’s Chapel, the State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.
Day 3 – London
From Piccadilly Circus to Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Fleet Street, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Big Ben – you’ll see it all with a comprehensive London City Tour. Continue to Westminster Abbey, site of royal weddings and coronations. Pause on the aged stones that pay tribute to the Unknown Warrior, and see the tombs of famous poets and writers. OPTION: Attend a West End theatre performance this evening.
Day 4 – Paris
Travel to France via the Chunnel under the English Channel, arriving in Paris in the afternoon.
Day 5 – Paris
Bonjour! Today begins with a Paris City Tour, accompanied by an expert local guide. See the Champs Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and other highlights of the City of Lights. Also visit the Gothic glory of Notre Dame Cathedral. This evening, see the monuments of Paris from a unique perspective aboard a Bateaux Mouches cruise along the Seine.
Day 6 – Lausanne
Journey through the vineyards of Burgundy and the mustard fields of Dijon on your way to the resort of Lausanne, Switzerland. This evening your guide will lead you on a walking tour of Lake Geneva, the lovely Lac Léman.
Day 7 – Lake Como
Wind through the countryside of Lugano, the crystal lake shared by Italy and Switzerland, and arrive in the beautiful Lake Como resort area.
Day 8 – Lake Como
Start your day with a peaceful Lake Como Boat Ride, sailing past soaring summits, colorful terraces, verdant pastures and an abundance of wild flowers, then discover other pleasures in this “Balcony of the Alps.”
Day 9 – Venice
Journey through Verona, the romantic hometown of Romeo and Juliet, on your way to Venice.
Day 10 – Venice
Your Venice City Tour, accompanied by a licensed guide, begins with a walk along the Grand Canal to see St. Mark’s Basilica, the Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Clock Tower, where animated statues of Moors use hammers to strike the hours. Visit the Doges’ Palace with its impressive paintings by Titian, Veronese and Tintoretto. Also view a Murano Glass Blowing demonstration. Option: Take a trip along the Grand Canal in a gondola, perhaps with a song from your gondolier.
Day 11 – Salzburg
Travel via the Brenner Pass, an important Roman route through which many invasions of Italy were made, to the “Sound of Music” city of Salzburg, Austria.
Day 12 – Munich
A guided Salzburg City Tour includes a trip to the home of Mozart, where you’ll see his music and childhood violin. Travel to Munich via a Salt Mines Tour. Dress in miners’ clothing and dive into a time when salt was once more valuable than gold. Arrive in the capital of Bavaria, a city known for its art and Oktoberfest.
Day 13 – Munich
Gutten tag! Your Munich City Tour includes the Marienplatz, the Flower Market, the Glockenspiel, and Frauenkirche Cathedral, built in 1468. You’ll also see Olympic Park, visit the BMW Museum and see St. Peters church, founded in 1050 AD.
Day 14 – Depart
Transfer to the airport and jet home, exhilarated by the magnificence of your European Panorama.
