Day 1 – Depart USA

Depart for Europe.

Day 2 – London

Welcome to England! En route to your hotel, enjoy a London City Tour. See Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Fleet Street, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s and Big Ben. Continue to Westminster where you’ll tour the formidable Westminster Abbey, site of numerous royal weddings and coronations. Highlights include the Coronation Chair and Screen, the monument of the Unknown Warrior and Poet’s Corner.

Day 3 – London

Today visit Windsor Castle, weekend residence of the royal family, and the world’s largest castle still inhabited. See Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, St. George’s Chapel, and the Round Tower built in 1170. Return to London for free time.

Day 4 – Paris

Travel by way of the Channel Tunnel (Chunnel) to France. Bonjour!

Day 5 – Paris

Discover the magic of Paris on a City Tour. See the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Elysées, the Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero, Les Invalides, Palais du Luxembourg, the Pantheon and the historic Latin Quarter. Continue to the Ile de la Cité and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral. Then on to a guided tour of the Louvre, the world’s largest museum, filled with art treasures that include da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo.

Day 6 – Rome

Transfer to the airport for your one-way flight to Rome. Take a guided Rome City Tour to see Circus Maximus, the Arch of Constantine, Piazza Venizia, Capitoline Hill, the Roman Forum, and visit the Colosseum.

Day 7 – Rome

Tour St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, then visit the Vatican Museum to see Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the vault of the Sistine Chapel. This evening, savor Roma on a walking tour to the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and the Piazza Navonna.

Day 8 – Night Boat

En route to your night boat, visit the ruins of Pompeii to observe the destruction (and preservation!) caused by Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. Board your night boat with cabins and snooze as you cruise to fabulous Greece.

Day 9 – Athens

En route to Athens, visit Delphi, to see the Delphi Oracle. Pilgrims from throughout the Greek world came seeking answers to their most perplexing questions. The priestess of the sanctuary of the Oracle was believed to receive answers from Apollo.

Day 10 – Athens

Climb the Acropolis and tour the Parthenon and its museum, then see the Royal Palace, the National Gardens, the remains of the Agora and the Olympic Stadium on an Athens City Tour. This evening, enjoy a special Greek dinner with light entertainment in the Plaka.

Day 11 – Departure/Cruise

Transfer to the airport and jet home, or board a luxurious three day Aegean cruise in Piraeus, the port of Athens.

Day 12 – Cruise

Sail on to Rhodes, the beautiful “island of roses.” Upon arrival, explore the island at your leisure or opt to travel to the medieval walled city of Lindos.

Day 13 – Cruise

East meets West! Situated at the crossroads of two continents, Kusadasi, Turkey combines European sophistication and Oriental mystery and is a spectacular blend of cultures, ideologies and architecture. Arrive at the ancient Roman port of Ephesus, formerly the site of the Temple of Artemis, one of seven ancient wonders of the world. Discover the wonders of the former Ottoman Empire. Continue to Patmos, where you can visit the fortified monastery dedicated to St. John the Divine, author of the book of Revelation.
