Day 1 – Depart USA
Depart the USA for your international flight to Shannon! Meal service on-board.
Day 2 – Shannon – Limerick
Arrive on the Emerald Isle! Meet your courier and transfer to the amazing Cliffs of Moher and then proceed to Bunratty’s Castle in Shannon for a visit. Enjoy a “Welcome to Ireland” Bunratty Medieval Dinner with your group this evening. D
Day 3 – Limerick – Killarney
This morning we begin our journey to the famed Ring of Kerry coastline. Make a few stops in small coastal villages, where you will see some of the most scenic vistas Ireland has to offer. Attend a sheep dog herding demonstration. B, D
Day 4 – Killarney – Dublin
Journey to Dublin, stopping along the way to tour the historic and hallowed Rock of Cashel. The striking St. Patrick’s Rock has exceptional architectural remnants of the early Christian era. On to the important Kilkenny Castle, built in 1195 to control a fording-point of the River Nore. En route, visit Glendalough, a glacial valley renowned for an Early Medieval monastic settlement founded in the 6th century by St. Kevin. Continue to Dublin. B, D
Day 5 – Dublin
This morning, enjoy a guided panoramic tour. See Dublin Castle, Merrion Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and Phoenix Park. Visit Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland, founded in 1592, and the alma mater of Samuel Beckett, Jonathan Swift and Oscar Wilde, among others. The exhibition area of the college displays the famous Book of Kells and other illuminated manuscripts of the Middle Ages. Meet the group for a dinner and show at Johnnie Fox’s. B, D
Day 6 – Dublin – London
This morning transfer to the airport. Board your flight to London. Upon arrival, your private bus and driver will then escort you on a guided London sightseeing tour by private motor coach this morning. See Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Fleet Street, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. This evening, venture out on the dark streets with a Jack the Ripper tour. B, D
Day 7 – London
Visit the royal Windsor Castle for a guided tour at the beautiful country retreat of the royal family. Return to London for a famous fish and chips dinner at a local pub. B, D
Day 8 – London
Meet the group for a blue badge guided walking tour of London to view the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye. B, D
Day 9 – London
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour to include the Tower of London, the majestic Crown Jewels, London Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Churchill War Rooms. B, D
Day 10 – London – USA
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home with many new memories of your adventures in Ireland and the United Kingdom! B
