Day 1 – Depart USA
Depart for London, England.
Day 2 – London
Welcome to London! Your private bus and guide will escort you to your hotel or introduce you to your host family. The rest of the day is free for discovery.
Day 3 – London
On today’s London City Tour see Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Fleet Street, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s and Big Ben. Continue to Westminster where you’ll tour the formidable Westminster Abbey, site of numerous royal weddings and coronations. Then cross an actual drawbridge to the Tower of London.
Day 4 – London
Explore Windsor Castle, the weekend retreat of the royal family and the largest castle in Europe still inhabited. See the Round Tower built by Henry II, St. George’s Chapel, the State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House.
Day 5 – Paris
Travel under the English Channel via the Chunnel to France and on to Paris, City of Light.
Day 6 – Paris
Bienvenue à Paris, the most magical city in the world! On your Paris City Tour see the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées and l’Etoile with the Arc de Triomphe. You’ll also visit the Louvre, the largest museum on earth. Later, enjoy a Bateaux Mouches Cruise on the Seine. View the monuments of France from a unique perspective as you take in the brilliance of the lights of Paris after nightfall.
Day 7 – Paris
Tour the Palace of Versailles, home of Louis XIV, the Sun King. Walk through its fabulous galleries, including the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed. See the formal gardens, preserved in their original state.
Day 8 – Paris – Rome
Buon giorno! After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rome. Discover the wonders of the Eternal City on your Rome City Tour. Visit the Colosseum, and see the Roman Forum, the Monument to Vittorio Emmanuel, the Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain.
Day 9 – Rome
A full day excursion will take you to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Your guided a Florence City Tour takes you to see the cathedral and baptistery, the Church of San Lorenzo and visit the Accademia with Michelangelo’s David. Travel to Rome via Orvieto, where you’ll take a funicular up the hillside to see the magnificent Duomo.
Day 10 – Rome
Cross the Tiber to Vatican City and its museum. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel. Afternoon is free to explore or shop for souvenirs.
Day 11 – Depart
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home. Meal service on-board.
